My first time experience here had been very politically charged and I asked about it in askLemmy and I was told to immediately block you people in the options I was given

I had the opportunity to browse around and found out that you folk were decent and weren't as awful as told in that post I made

How do you view .world and by extension other instances that defederate (and view negatively) towards you?

Like, this space was created because cth got banned for praising John Brown. Don’t forget that.

Make no mistake. We got banned because we refused to clutch our pearls and supported the George Floyd uprising uncritically, at a moment of acute crisis when the state was scared shitless by the manifold crises of Covid-19, the shambolic nomination of Joe Biden, and the malaise of a declining empire in general (in addition to simultaneous urban uprisings in all 50 states). The subreddit was a minor casualty of a broad domestic counterinsurgency campaign. Reddit banned individual users for John Brown posting, but that was just pretextual for saying "we also violated the rules" and throwing us in the same bucket as r/TheDonald in their autoerotic announcement.

Yes of course. CTH was a thorn in the admins’ side for a while. We were growing at a rapid pace and radicalizing normies and the advertisers/cia handlers couldn’t have that. And our supposed replacements (antiwork, deprogram etc) have been unable to carry that work forward due to various reasons. Breadtube is now a grave. They threw the libs a crumb by ridding the trump sub along with us and they were satisfied.
