    I wouldn't say those count because they are still things you still do frequently need to pay for opposed to content in the public domain.

    I think you'd be surprised by the amount of free content out there. A lot of it won't likely be your speed because of how tastes have changed over the years but I imagine you'd find some stuff you like.

    Nosferatu, Little Shop Of Horrors, and House On Haunted Hill are examples of some popular horror movies in the public domain.
