This is why the "heroes don't kill" trope is so stupid.
You end up in a universe where a ton of good people get killed but the bad guys get to live to go on and kill more people. Sometimes letting a Nazi live makes you complicit in murder, it's not always heroic to let bad people live.
Even worse is the majority of the time lib media ends up having no problem killing off leftist revolutionary coded villains but hesitates and has this moral no kill discussion regarding actual Nazis
