A sci-fi fan?
It's hard to pinpoint a specific book but I'd say Keşanlı Ali Destanı because of how Haldun Taner manages to combine aspects of classic Turkish stories, modern life in Turkey and ancient Greek plays. The big mistakes of bad Turkish writers boil down to replicating either Western stories or traditional Turkish ones without any attempts to reconcile them, in my opinion.
