I'm so fucking done with electoral politics. I've gone full blown apathetic about a lot of things in my life (real doomer hours), and despite all the energy I spend on politics I don't give one shit about the election.
Literally. I haven't looked at one poll. I skip pasting reading news articles. I see all you fucking libs panicking, and I keep on scrolling. Part of it is probably depression, sure, but I've completely let go. Last election I followed things obsessively, this one I couldn't give less of a shit. It feels great, highly recommended.
Electoral politics isn't going to solve anything. Stop stressing about it. Things will continue to get worse, just like they always do.
Read theory.
Educate. Agitate. Organize.
It feels like I'm on a space station, and the election is a pod full of monkeys fighting to the death. But I've already closed the hatch and pulled the release lever, and now I'm standing in the airlock watching it recede as distant silhouettes tumble past the windows. It sure looks loud in there.
I can't help myself from looking but genuinely I'm too fucking sick of all this bs to care about who wins.
