I think most people here don't celebrate the people dying that day as much as they mock the coercive insincere reverence pushed by the warmongers that killed thousands of people per every individual that died that day, all for lootable resources in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Remember those commemorative coin commercials where you could buy coins supposedly made from the steel of the collapsed building? Yeaahhh that was way worse than these tattoos.

The ways that "patriots" tried to honor/respect 9/11 came off as way more insulting to me than the actual earnest mockeries. Like Rudy Ghouliani having $9.11 proportioned donations for his presidential campaign, the Jokerfying gift shop and theme restaurant built at Ground Zero, and even calling it "patriot day" as if there was anything positive to glean over the Casus Belli from the day that bled the world for decades to come afterward.

Thank you. My family honors him every year on 9/11. He was one of the best pilots here in Egypt.
