Apparently the military isn't as conservative anymore as we think it is, though. Like, a lot of service members are just outright not identifying with either party anymore, and care more about issues.
That would be awesome, but probably not likely. I kinda misspoke. The military is still pretty conservative, in the true meaning of the word. They're just not as in lockstep with the Republican party as they used to be. But they seemed to like Bernie, though. I couldn't find any opinion polling done about military members and their views on the primary, but they gave Bernie more donations than they gave Trump.
The political shift might be enough for the military to not be completely loyal to him in a potential SHTF situation where Trump tries to use the military domestically, though.
I mean in theory it shouldn't be hard, right? I grew up in a rural area, and sure maybe 50% of the people I knew who joined where chuds. But a good quarter of them also only joined because they didn't want to work at McDonald's with another quarter saw it as a way to "travel" because they were too poor for anything else.

Latest military times poll shows more respondents claiming they plan to vote for Biden than Trump.

Absolutely, I'm definitely not someone who discounts the revolutionary potential of disillusioned military personnel.
I'm not sure that's quite as true in Georgia, though. I'll be pleasantly surprised if it is.
