    Do you really think I use the term "ricing" in a way to discriminate against or other Asians? It's not comparable to the n word because no one calls Asians "ricers". Also, how would using a word that describes putting in great effort to make a system aesthetic and uniquely yours have a negative connotation?

      The term goes back decades as a pejorative for Asian dudes putting shitty mods on their cars. I heard it in the 1990's a lot. A "Honda Ricer" was an Asian dude's stock car with a spoiler. It was an "Uncle Ben Hot Rod" when they modded the engine.

      It's disparaging. It's based on race. That makes it racist. Stop using racist language. It's akin to saying you got "gypped", or a sly salesman "Jewing me down" on a deal. Stop.
