just got around to giving this a listen and I'm halfway through, real doomer hours
I just went and read the text and I gotta say, I really don't know what it means to replace laws with norms, especially if you're trying to inflict those norms on corporations.
I guess it goes about as far as yelling at corporations goes, which seems to be somewhat effective with companies that rely on public opinion, but not with Oracle or Raytheon.
It's better than nothing, I guess.
Makes me thing that from an anarchist perspective, any organization that grows large enough to be too consequential should be thought of as a cancer and eliminated.
Didn't read the source text, but my takeaway is that tech workers need to organize because the monopolists are absolutely eating our lunch rn, and the corporate commons they've created by commoditizing (i.e. open-sourcing) their complements ensures that trust busting is going to have 0 net effect for workers.
Right now libs are coopting the very real organizing energy that exists in the workforce of the monopolists with shit like the climate 'strike'. So I ask folks here: what are you doing to organize your industry?
