Started listening to STAR again after a few years, turns out they released a new album a month ago. Real simple shoegaze that's just really well done coming from the dude behind lovesliescrushing and astrobrite.
This group that got their name from astrobrite has a perfect first ep and album. The Naked Souls is another great band. For blackgaze Velvet Cacoon is it.
For anyone into shoegazey noise/ambient I can rec Jefre Cantu-Ledsema, and a few of Jeff Witscher's projects like Impregnable and Secret Abuse
