The gen x people I know in my biological family refuse to do even the most basic chores, even things as presumptively self-evidently worthwhile like "cleaning the shaving scum out of the sink after shaving." Last I checked, yep, the shaving scum is still there in the sink at their house until the wife cleans up after them, because they are, direct quote, a grown-ass maaaaaan.
