Def get this feeling from some of the anti-zionists. Some spaces make me feel like I can't be Jewish and care for Palestinians/hate the state. The worst has been when I start dunking Israel and people start bashing Jewish people. That's been f'd up. IRL it comes for woke libs, but online I feel like I get it more from ML's.
Don't think I've felt it on chapo though which is both cool and good.

One of the cool things about dialectical materialism done right is that nothing is entirely good or bad. We are not supposed to worship the Soviet Union. We have much to learn from the Soviet Union and that includes not repeating the failures of it. Principled Marxists should welcome and be excited to hear good faith criticisms of past, present and future endeavors. As long as you sincerely want to improve humanity, it is a good faith criticism.
