Why is it почта? Embrace borrowed words, it would be тредик ;)

I searched for a translation of "thread" but all I got was "нить" and "резьба". Thanks for helping me find the right word!

Well yeah these are correct translations. post (as in on forum) would be пост or сообщение, thread itself would be тред or тредик, depending on the size/intention. Or ветка/обсуждение. Пост may also mean fasting (religious), remote structure (like outpost), or direct borrowing to mean something afterwards (a la aposteriori or post-industrial). Post as in mail would be почта, which is where почта came from I guess?

If you have somewhat passable reading (recognizing maybe 400 words), you can look at multitran.com for translations. it’s a site for russian translators, but it will try to give contexts to different meanings of the words (but in russian :(.

Wow, thanks! Maybe I'll make a new post to fix the title. I'm sure there are other mistakes in this post, if you feel inclined to point those out as well I'd appreciate it.

This looks awesome, but I think I'll need to improve my vocabulary a bit before I can use it to its full potential.

The first sentence reads like one by the English speaker, the rest are fine. Because we have cases, the word ending usually gives away the intention, so:

Этот пост предназначен для, всего что помогает помощи

You lose verbs, you lose complicated descriptions like (anything that...). If you wanted to underline any help, you would add before помощи adjective like: всевозможной(formal)/различной=любой (closely similar to anything intention)/ всякой (informal).

Эта ветка для любой помощи с русским языком. Something like this.
