I enjoyed 'The Philosophy of Social Ecology' by Bookchin. I think his theory of change and overall vision of society are kind of silly, but his writing on the link between capitalism and ecological devastation is fully realized and good.

The idea of his I've been chewing on the hardest is that 'all ecological problems are really social problems' which is to say that all environmental issues stem from human decisions about how and what to produce.
