      truly, yes, it doesn't seem to be forcing any sort of economic concessions, but more trying to consolidate the capital of China from foreign interference. The authors say its coming with a lot of "free speech limitations" but doesn't care to list them, or just lists things that were already happening.

      And since I only could get a pdf version, I couldn't see what they meant by "Xi Jinping thought". Western newspapers could say this about all marxism, this could be the manifesto for all we know. I don't really see how educating capitalists on marxism, especially that of its main scientists, would do anything.

      This seems to be just making a ruckus over nothing in particular.
