I'm in a small college town in NW Ohio and we have been getting more and more lightning bugs the past few summers and it has been incredible. Thousands of them light up the walling trails by the river at night and i get dozens of them around my home.
fireflies. never saw em growing up out west. loved seeing them when i lived in michigan for a couple years
