It seems weird to me that this sport that I've never heard of before this summer is suddenly this hot new thing that everyone is playing. But also, I like weird new sports, so I'm down to try it.
Not sure where you're from but pickleball got popular on beaches around the world like 15 years ago.
That would explain it, because I live very, very far away from beaches. I've never heard of pickleball since this year.
