Night In The Woods is an adventure game about a college dropout who comes home to the friends and the town they left behind. Break stuff, play bass, hang out, go places and discover things that aren't meant for you. Come home to Possum Springs.
When I played this game a year ago it struck many deep chords with me, but what has stuck with me the most is the quote "I believe in a universe that doesn't care, and people who do" which has now become the foundation for my current worldview. This idea that the meaning of life is defiantly caring about things and others despite the void we are floating in has given me a philosophical foundation for justifying a bunch of political ideas, and I've found that approaching politics from a philosophical side works super well when talking to family and friends about these things. I think that's pretty cool and I don't think I can give a more positive recommendation than that.

the line that stuck with me was "When I die, I want it to hurt."
