I haven't played music in a while, and I really miss it, but every time I pick up my guitar again, I'm discouraged by how far I've backslid since the last time I played. At least I'm still passable at Trumpet.

We love losing our passions and skills in our late 20s, don't we folks?

yo i feel the same way about my guitar! i played all the time in my early 20s and got to a point where i was really comfortable with it and could have a lot of fun with it. picking it up now is a weirdly depressing thing for some reason. it like, makes me regret not playing more since then, and reminds me of how fast time goes by.
