Honestly, I can't understand my Chinese colleagues that want to stay in the US and make their career here. I think in raw currency values they come out ahead, but everything I can find indicates that unless they create a multi-billion dollar Silicon Valley startup, they would likely be better off in China. And this is in a pure field, where highly-valued startups is unlikely.
What do they do for a living? Maybe they want to get a lot of money and then move back to China?
