          Since the NCR is barely getting its feet off the ground and full-on early Industrial Revolution atm, perhaps some labor movements are starting up in the NCR atm?

            Yeah, technically the communist option would be to aid the NCR to help speed up the (re)formation of capitalism, I think there were some Marx/Engels texts talking about that. (Not a strategy relevant today, of course, but still.)

            That’s kinda how I justified supporting them in New Vegas. There’s a lot of little hints that the farmers, workers and enlisted soldiers of the NCR aren’t happy with how things are and are becoming conscious of their class position. If Caesar wins he’ll just kill 70% of people and convert the rest to his death cult.

            I always had it as head canon that some radical sect of the Followers was doing some Red Guard shit behind the scenes in California.

            They’re a bit more radical than that they’re just also pacifists.

            Honestly the NCR soldiers going February Revolution is probably the most likely left outcome of the world. Not that I’m writing a fan fic or anything.
