I’m 3 chapters into the audiobook of Trans Liberation. (Cis, straight, white guy here) and I have to say that it’s really eye opening so far. While I never had issues with anyone that’s lgtbq, hearing 1st hand accounts and some of the speeches Leslie has given made me realize how much more those groups of people are connected, and how personal the struggle to just be able to identify and express yourself how you feel is best due to these structures and institutions we have in place from a time when that expression targeted you as an outcast from society. I’ll keep reporting back when I get further into it. Love and solidarity to all my trans comrades out there.
