    I like the concept of less waste too but coming from a tech company that sustains itself on planned obsolence I somehow doubt this is about the waste and more about the $$$

      Obviously that is the case, but I don't care because the outcome of less waste is objectively good.

        I agree less waste is good. I think I was thrown off by the other poster asking if you were a bit. Sorry if it sounded like I thought this was totally bad. More like performative and empty.

        Exactly. Samsung and Apple bad, too overpriced and evil, get something else. But waste is also bad

      the goal is for sure more money but also I assume everyone buying a phone has a charger at home for their current phone
