I really like it. Played through it back around release. After you get used to the controls its a pretty fun game and the gfx are super cozy.
If I remember correctly you are literally a terrorist paid by an intergalactic corporation to prepare a socialist planet (or something) for invasion after the "Great Leader" died.
Honestly I always read it as the same rhetoric that is used for AES countries today so I never took the supposed tyranny of Great Leader serious.
I don't know how the developers think but it would be absolutely hilarious if this wasn't intentional.
