“The real enemy of my people is here. I will not disgrace my religion, my people or myself by becoming a tool to enslave those who are fighting for their own justice, freedom and equality.” —Muhammad Ali

Muhammad Ali was a boxer, philanthropist and social activist who is universally regarded as one of the greatest athletes of the 20th century. Ali became an Olympic gold medalist in 1960 and the world heavyweight boxing champion in 1964.

Muhammad Ali was stripped of his heavyweight title, had his passport revoked, and faced a five-year prison term for refusing to serve in the U.S. Armed Services at the height of the Vietnam War.

Following his suspension for refusing military service, Ali reclaimed the heavyweight title two more times during the 1970s, winning famed bouts against Joe Frazier and George Foreman along the way.

“Religions all have different names, but they all contain the same truths. I think the people of our religion should be tolerant and understand people believe different things.” —Muhammad Ali

This article was posted on r*ddit and the first comment says this article refers to scans of people currently infected, and that scans taken months after the infection are mostly back to normal

Thanks a lot, you appear to be right. It's probably more nuanced though - there are research papers appearing on long term effects now, and they usually paint a worrying picture (though usually not for the asymptomatic infections).
