There’s literally screen caps on this very website of shit libs calling the 79 year old sexist for not getting dolled up for Kamala’s historic event. Even tho he was wearing a god damn sport coat and tie under his grandpa clothes.

TBF I do understand and believe that there def is a double standard compared to what it’s acceptable for men to wear compared to women at what is considered fsncy events.

But i also believe in the internationally accepted law of “old person clothing”. Which states all old people can dress however TF they like they have been around for long enough and it’s cold leave them alone.

They've already done that, and I think it may have been the same coat he wore yesterday, even.

This is supported by the fact that :warren-snake-green: was wearing a fairly similar outfit to Bernie's, IIRC

i uh.. dont know how to break this to you, but like... there are womens coats and mittens.

womens pant suits have been acceptable fancy event attire for well over half a century at this point. (at the very least within d.c this is true. your mileage obviously varies in other locales)

plus like, the whole thing wasnt about comparing womens attire to his, it was just that he wasnt fancy enough. so the people saying its a misogyny are just insane.
