I usually have horrible luck hunting for used leftist works at the local book store, but today I found:
Black Skin, White Masks by Fanon
Guerilla Warfare by Che Guevara
Women in (Canada lmao) Cuba: 20 years later by Margaret Randall
Ready for Revolution by Kwame Ture
The Telling by LeGuin
The only thing I ever find is d’souza and o’reilly books that, I assume, got dumped from them overbuying them to pad best selling listens
Oh yeah, this place's poli-sci and economics sections are a joke. The communism, anarchism section also includes fascism. Plus, it's right between Islam and like Yoga. I got lucky last year and found the Bread Book and some Marx but most of the communism related books are right wing bullshit.
Many such cases lol. The one and only left wing book I’ve ever seen anywhere here is a collected works of Chomsky lol but I live in Texas so
independent bookstore or corporate? Half Price books doesnt really seem to have anything worthwhile, but that speaks more to the populace around the store more than anything.
Independent. It's a pretty big place, but they rarely have leftist stuff. In the past year they've started buying New stuff to fill their gaps in Black History and whatnot, but it's not really worth it New when I can get it online for much cheaper.
