My gf has been absolutely fuming over Palestina and how it gets protrayed in the media. She's even more radical than I am I think lol. Maybe this is her turning point. She's never been this mad at something political.

I wonder if the soon to-be isnt'raelis in-exile will become the new Rh*desians, soon in 20-30 years in the future there would be songs, documentaries, tributes about how 'peaceful' their Ethnostate was before those ebil Uncivilized arab Terrorist took away their stolen land /s

Welp, just blocked another person I thought was cool over on Mastodon because they were boosting concern trolling about "Israeli civilians"

Just a reminder that if you're a western "leftist" and you're suddenly against Palestine now that they're fighting back, you're literally less radical than a lot of libs lol

It is the duty of every communist to support the struggle against fascism all over the world. Destroy neo-Nazism in Ukraine; destroy Zionism in Palestine.

How can there be civilians at all if mandatory conscription is a thing? Every civilian is a potential soldier in Israel. I feel bad for the people who were just born into the world without making any of these decisions and got hurt but they were, whether they like it or not, going to be used as a tool of terror by the Israeli state.

You can't use your civilians as weapons and then fall back and claim they're not a threat.

If Israel ends the mandatory conscription, and lets the civilians stay civilians, I might have more outrage.

A good term for this, that Roxanne Dunbar-Ortiz, and Sakai uses (i think), is Settler Garrison. Northern Ireland, the US western frontier, Israel, are some examples.

These are the advance troops of colonialism, using terrorist methods to bully, kill, steal, and wipe out indigenous peoples. Occasionally they even have conflicts with the colonial powers on the methods / best ways to do it. The US revolutionary war was essentially a disagreement between Britain's settler garrison, and Britain trying to put a leash on their westward expansion.

From what I've seen about the status of the war in Ukraine, the russians have been pushing in some important areas, so I wouldn't be surprised if what happens is a sudden collapse of the front lol

All settlers are hostile enemy combatants. If a settler brings his child to a stolen home he is using that child as a human shield.

Here's some pictures of Israeli women. Oh, we've added the word RAPE to our headline, by the way. We also have a witness who says Hamas are a beastly force RAPING every WOMAN and KID in Israel. Please understand that we want to link Hamas and RAPE in your head. Because they may or may not do that according to our existing or maybe non existing source.

Classic Jim Crow era tactics -- "damn [redacted] going around raping our women!" Of course if you point out the similarity to most libs, they cry and call you a racist, because we're all supposed to pretend that a bunch of European settlers from widely different cultures and countries but with a similar religious background are in this day and age somehow "non-white."

That and baby killing are propaganda classics for a reason. Anyone who tries to push back against the narrative or has questions about the propaganda is immediately cast as a monster who doesn't care about women being raped and children being murdered.

IDF absolutely has a well developed bot and "influencer" network they deploy during times like this when they want to massacre a bunch of Palestinians again, plus all the well established relationships between American government and large news organizations with Zionist NGOs like AIPAC and ADL.

Israel has become quiet adept over the decades at getting western rubes to buy all their bullshit.

Although I’ve joked that Benjamin Netanyahu must be directly managing all of these accounts, I feel like a bot network would be unnecessary because there are likely enough dullards on the Internet to unwittingly do the neocolonists’ PR work for them.

That said, I can’t dismiss the bot network idea out of hand. Can you show me evidence for it?

I'm not up to date on IDF operations but for a government agency building a botnet would be so cheap and simple (like cheaper than printing posters cheap) I can't imagine that they wouldn't do it. I found this without much looking. Granted this guy is a private contractor but former IDF. Israel famously has well funded and developed cyberwarfare and propaganda/"PR" capabilities too, so I bet social media manipulation would be wrapped in one of those arms.

There have been many times in my life I have felt rage at my uselessness and powerlessness to do anything about something major happening. But not quite like this one. I can't stop checking the news and usually I don't care to receive news a day or two late. I wish I could be there.

Chynah does it by... forcing people to learn the skills for factory work and pushing them through the "proper" Chinese education system instead of the "oh they're a minority region they can teach whatever" education system.

I, for one, am horrified that China would do such a thing. Xinjiang should remain an undereducated and underdeveloped backwater to avoid infringing on my freedoms.
