Oh god I read this one back in the day. I think it was something about the god of icky swamps and there was a piece of magic ice that was freezing everything around it and endangering the dinosaur people, and there was something about hte lady not being real or something, like she was made by magic and wasn't sure of her identity? No pounding in the ass from the triceratops that I remember, unfortunatelky.
I think that lady was the basis of the "Curse of the Azure Bonds" Gold Box AD&D computer game, too. She was basically a fantasy robot with a human form and those azure markings gave her programming directives.
