CPR is just bizarre, especially from a marketing angle considering it came out right around 2077. Why wouldn't you set the next release of the TTRPG in 2077, to better synergize with fans of the game/anime? Why does the setting treat the nuking of Arasaka HQ as a Big Deal when 2077 treats it was totally irrelevant? Why do none of the example adventures in the book follow the book's advice on how to build and run scenarios? Why didn't they fucking change hacking to not be an entirely separate minigame for just the netrunner?
I had enough issues with the hideously poor layout and rules (d10 is just as unsatisfying as d20, imo) to just convert the 'ware and gear to GURPS.
