I have a copy of Red. I need to go through it.

I played 2077 earlier this year and enjoyed it (not perfect, but enjoyable), but I can imagine you can do way better in the system than the game. I can't help but to feel the game would have worked better as an isometric game like BG3. And maybe not by anti communist brain wormed people.

I'm sad I was never able to play this. My DnD group was basically all Cyberpunked out by the time I met them. I did however get to play AD&D and D20 modern and those were fun.

CPR is just bizarre, especially from a marketing angle considering it came out right around 2077. Why wouldn't you set the next release of the TTRPG in 2077, to better synergize with fans of the game/anime? Why does the setting treat the nuking of Arasaka HQ as a Big Deal when 2077 treats it was totally irrelevant? Why do none of the example adventures in the book follow the book's advice on how to build and run scenarios? Why didn't they fucking change hacking to not be an entirely separate minigame for just the netrunner?

I had enough issues with the hideously poor layout and rules (d10 is just as unsatisfying as d20, imo) to just convert the 'ware and gear to GURPS.
