My problem with Alex is that he keeps putting out these hot takes like his video about how you shouldn't deep fry at home and he's consistently fucking wrong

I personally hate frying at home and don't really want to just dump the oil straight into the compost, but also I rarely deep fry and I hate cleaning up the mess it leaves on my stove.
His whole, "volumetric measurements are fine, who cares that powders are compressible" schtick as a way to draw in people who don't have or want to use a kitchen scale is straight up bullshit though. If the humidity is high enough, those errors can really fuck your recipe of e.g., pizza dough
