    Is mayo in the US something different from mayo in other places? I'm honestly asking as any time the topic comes up people react like it's disgusting. I feel like we're thinking of different things.

      Is mayo in the US something different from mayo in other places?

      It can probably include larger amounts of glue, lead paint and spider eggs than in Europe, whereas the European version has better odds of being full of bacteria that give you ultra-diarrhea.

      Mayonnaise is indeed different. Lots of prepackaged stuff has HFCS for some reason
