There was some country singer or something called Trisha I think (her husband apparently sung in Biden's inauguration too?) and some other super white lady and they were frying pork. I guess it wasn't fatty enough for them so they splashed a bunch of bacon fat onto it. To make it complete, after it was done they also put a bunch of whipped cream onto it. They were doing all that while discussing how her husband made like two pizzas for her on their first date. The next show was some kind of contest hosted by Guy Fieri (lmao) and they were doing the whole showing photos of the contestants' past cooking thing and they were all just making the most disgusting shit conceivable, some guy had made like an enormous ball of cheese, ketchup and I think macaroni with no discernible shape.

How do these people survive lol

In order to keep food production profitable we create these decadent television shows to instill a culture of overconsumption. This in turn creates health issues like heart disease. Heart disease is very good for business in the private healthcare industry. So it's not really a bug as much as a feature. This also helps overshadow the fact that 13 million kids face food insecurity by creating a culture of plently in american food production. If we look back in history we see food commodity lobbyists shape the american diet like the pork industry making pig meats a staple of american breakfasts. Similar things happened with the sugar industry and the beef industry. I do not think it is unbelievable to see the medical industry being instrumental with the American decadence culture in eating to help increase insulin sales and expensive heart surgeries.
