I only really was able to get rid of the US of A by 1920s by then it was too late and the slowdown really started so I just had one goal in mind which was to change every state to Han
After I pushed them out of Africa they got rocked by a thousand revolts and ended up as french commune, in fact there's a surprising amount of communist countries in europe, france and belgium, with great britain having constant revolts between workers republic and commune. Really only Germany and Russia were somewhat stable. And at that point I just had to focus on finishing the USA in time, i.e. take states let truce tick down then do it again.
The Han population is an infinite money glitch. I always bumrush north-central China to get some of those high pop provinces and flood my colonies with a massive migrant population.
