    sadly not practical, the magnetic field those things would need would require superconductors and absolutely saturate the area near the ground in nearly a full Teala.

    but hey. normal maglev bullet trains are awesome! and could be built in the air!

      idk about you but I like a magnetic field so strong above me I could throw a frog up there and it would float.

            you know what... yes great move:
            air traffic also wouldn't be able to fly over it.
            datacenters wouldn't be able to build near it
            it would create channels only suitable to green residential housing with minimal tech.
