“But we still need to support downballot candidates to protect vulnerable minorities!”

This is the thing that gets me so mad about “vote blue no matter who”. If it’s Palestine, South American climate refugees, undeserved minorities neighborhoods, litterally anything liberals supposedly care about, it’s all the same “harm reduction” bullshit. It’s like being told to vote for Jigsaw rather than Jason Voorhees, because a Saw trap has is “safer” than a machete. They don’t talk about the bigger issue is that we are voting for a slasher killer.

Every liberal in America in a Warhawk but for some reason feels the need to lament their their choice. American foreign policy is directly the cause of the vast majority of conflict and difficulties America finds itself in or adjacent to. It's so frustrating that these liberals don't understand that their lust to remain the global hegemony is the reason why all this is happening. It's not enough for them to have a stranglehold on the world, they hinge and complain when the world manages to scratch them just a little bit. They want everyone to like the boot that's on their head. Fuck this shit gets me heated.

And in the downballot race we have:

'Gorm BLOODTHRISTER, who wants to slaughter every Palestinian'

'Lilian Sunshine Rosita, who wants to expel every Palestinian'

'Richard J. Ball, who wants Palestinians to pay reparations to distraught settlers from Long Island'

and finally 'Moses Lester Junior, who thinks Palestinians should read Gene Sharp, so they can "protest better"

I was partly radicalized from getting involved in local politics and the dems at the state or local levels are all just shittier versions of Pelosi, every one of them. People should be encouraged to talk in person for more than a few minutes with their local democratic representatives to see how amazingly awful they are. Like yes, their stances on abortion and trans rights are better, but not to the extent of supporting universal health care or abolishing the police, two policies which would make a massive positive difference with regard to these issues.
