Whether it's something you've read recently, a long time ago, or are still in the middle of: what is the single text related to the history, oppression and liberation struggle of the Palestinian people that you'd most recommend and why?

Never mind any generic concept of the best; just give whatever reasons made you choose what you did.

    Palestine by Joe Sacco, it's a graphic novel actually, but it's based on his experiences visiting Gaza and the west bank and interviews he had with Palestinians. He's a journalist that writes graphic novels, basically.

    He did another one that's also good called Footnotes From Gaza.
