My only advice would be to buy a football mouth guard to wear while you sleep. If you're dreaming about clenching your jaw, there's a chance that you might be grinding your teeth in your sleep. Used to happen to me as well.

I've had success (meaning I succeeded literally one time ever at doing this lol) at turning a full-blown night terror into a very fun lucid dream. The lights going on/off seem like a good trigger point that you could maybe train yourself to recognize the next time it happens and maybe attempt to exert some control over it yourself as it's happening. Please keep us updated on these dreams! Major eyes wide shut vibes lol

Sounds like sleep paralysis. The pre-sleep auditory hallucinations happened to me a few times. The figures in black robes is also very common for sleep paralysis. Usually a result of stress, medication, messed up sleep schedule or some combination thereof.
