I read all the books as a kid but now I literally remember zero of the plot except that there was a fairy lady and some 11 year old 1000 IQ boy in it
the kid and the fairy lady have romantic tension, even tho she's like a tier 1 operator and he's an obnoxious shithead
I never read them as a kid. I preferred Percy Jackson and Hrry Ptter (lol).
I read that book 3 times cause each time I picked it back up I thought I hadn't finished it. Turns out the ending was just that unmemorable.
I quite liked those books as a kid and my partner's little brother was really excited to tell us about the enby character in one of the new books so I like to think they do some good :(
