No, he's simply desperate, there's this video where he basically shits on every political party that's not him that's been circulating which is showed in contrast with this other one. He's fucked and basically is trying to get everyone's votes. In this video he's saying he could give one of the governmental bodies he's trying to build to the left which basically goes against everything he's said.

Do you think this could have something to do with the fact that China pressed hard for Argentina to join the BRICS+? I'm guessing that since Milei was adamant on getting Argentina out of the bloc he could be loosing some support in light of China's "lobby". Or maybe it is more due to the internal Argentinian politics (of which I haven't followed closely)?

I've heard rumours that China is kind of backing Massa, like being generous with the yuan swaps, but I don't trust this narrative too much. Honestly I just think most people think he's crazy and they don't want to see something so shitty so they rather see the Peronists again. Milei did a terrible campaign after the PASO, he kept doing this shitty cartoon character and playing fool, insulted everyone, etc. Now he's trying to act more normally and trying to form alliances with whomever.

I don't think mostly no one cares about the BRICS+ here, the general populace doesn't even know what it is or how it could benefit us, and some who more or less know what it is, if they aren't left wing, they don't want to be there because "muhh socialism".

from what i heard, china offered to pay argentina's debt for good, i don't know the current state of affairs, if this is still going or if it was shoot down.

one that happened tho, was that argetina received one billion dollars from a south american group that i forgot the name, where public and private entities participate in decision making, this detail is important bcz one btazilian news outlet said that lula was directly interfering with another countries election and when it got called out it doubled down on the lie

comrade normose, an brazilian youtuber made a video about what he called marketing of the absurd, it consists of producing content that generates negative reaction from the public, because we tend to interact and share more stuff that we don't like than what we like, so making sensible people do the work of spreading the marketed object for free. it works well and every time.

he uses the example of balenciaga shitty loooking shoes and fascists figures like bolsonaro and trump.

but there is a situation where this kind of marketing fails, when you make something so absurd that borderline criminal or at the very least moraly questionable, like balenciaga again with that bdsm for children.

in my opinion this is what happened to milei, the absurd tactic was working fine while he was trash talking commies, peronists, leftists in general, cosplaying as ancapitan, chainsaw libertad carajo and etc..., but he lost the line and badmouthing the fucking pope and the next right wing candidate that could give him votes in the second turn and so on

edit: i could've written better but im on the phone almost sleeping, so...
