Dolores Cacuango, also known as Mamá Doloreyuk, was a leader in the fight for indigenous rights in Ecuador born on this day in 1881. She was active in the Glorious May Revolution of 1944 and co-founded the Indigenous Federation of Ecuador (FEI).

Cacuango was born to enslaved people in San Pablourco who worked the Pesillo Hacienda near Cayambe without being paid. She had no access to education due to her lack of resources, and learned Spanish while working as a housemaid.

In 1930, Cacuango was among the leaders of the historic workers' strike at the Pesillo hacienda in Cayambe, which was a milestone for indigenous and peasant rights. During the Glorious May Revolution in Ecuador, Cacuango personally led an assault on a government military base.

The same year, with the help of Ecuador's Communist Party, Cacuango co-founded the Indigenous Federation of Ecuador (FEI), an early group in the fight for indigenous rights. She also helped establish some of the first bilingual indigenous schools.

wait thats the same screenshot lol. I only went down to like 7 hull. The four boarders started in weapons but the buffer in there allowed me to vent the room out while keeping the halberd online (they dealt 1 damage to the system but I was still fine). Enemy heavy laser hit me in oxygen after I cloaked the first volley, and the boarders all suffocated in medbay (I moved the weapons guy to doors and used my pilot to delay them). If I had gotten hit through cloaking it would have been pretty nasty though.

Now that I think about it it's just a super classic case of "sure the fight was bad but I had systems so it was fine

yeah I've lost a couple runs to the green police before and when I saw burst 2 heavy 2 I got scared lol. If I had gotten hit somewhere bad by the heavy laser it could have been very awkward though

Remember the ai I'd always on auto fire. The timer for a burst and a heavy don't line up well, shields should cover most of that. I always keep some extra slots in engines and borrow power from elsewhere when a shot is fired and put it back after.

Didn't notice but jeepers, your engines should be higher, level 2 hacking is barely useful and I'd get my evade to 30 at least as a priority over lvl 2 shields. Take one shield upgrade as a damage buffer to the system then get the engines up. Your shields don't matter if you're not getting hit. You can tske out the Zoltan shield with your Halbert in one burst. Do that and cloak when they fire the heavy laser and switch yo your laser weapons, they should be well ahead of the enemy weapons on charge when you exit cloak, blast the weapons first, fire the hull a bit after bl1's first laser hits cause hull lasers are slow. Take power from oxygen to use that bit of engine you aren't using during enemy shots and put em back later. You can also manipulate boarders so they pool in the teleprompter room while you're cloaked, hit it with the hacking drone and then activate when you decloak and try to take out the o2 at the same time. If you begin boarded you gotta vent and pray, I invest in a lv1 door upgrade almost first thing, don't upgrade it past that, just man the door room and vent. A manned lv1 door is perfectly fine for almost all situations
