Sounds like your worries about your hair are symptomatic of wider problems and worries in your life.

Be kind to yourself, and look after your mental health as best you can.

Also look for minoxidil. It's the active ingredient in Rogain last I check and you can get it for way cheaper than actual Rigain. I use it and it has slowed the loss significantly.

Get hair loss treatment NOW. Go talk to a dermatologist NOW. Either that or start going to the gym and cutting calories and shave your head bald once your ripped. I'm in the same boat man, I've put a lot of thought into this. You can't let it dissuade you man, plenty of women out there don't mind the hairline or actually like it, as long as it's well kempt.

Have you tried rogaine and friends? My understanding is the sooner you start the better the results.

Surely hairline "shouldn't" be a determining factor for potential partners but it's a vain and fallen world...

Receding hairlines just... Sort of happen. Mine started some time ago when I was getting to 30. I also have the dreaded "widows peak" that you described. Started at the sides and the hair that's left has a "V" shape to it. It sucks but I have just accepted it. Honestly, it IS something you have to learn to live with. I had a friend that was balding in his early 20s. Ended up just shaving and accepting it. You could try minoxidil topical treatments. Twice a day on each side that's receding. I have used it for years. It's slowed the loss significantly. You'll still loose it eventually but might put it at an age you are more comfortable with.

Also your dad's hairline doesn't matter. It's your mother's father that you should look at for how your hair might go.

For me, changing my gender and going on HRT helped a lot with all of this. I still hate my face though, but maybe someday I'll get facial feminization surgery. It's quite possible that you hate your appearance for cisgender reasons but please consider the possibility that you could be trans. It could save your life.

Personally I will never understand this. Baldness is the best thing that happened to my appearance. I suppose I never had great hair to begin with so I didn't lose much. Wake up in the morning already ready, no barber smalltalk to deal with, no fashion to keep up with...

you really need to go get some dutasteride or similar med immediately, the quicker you do it the less problems youll have.
