We take a look at Stars And Strife, a new Starz documentary by David Smick (“macroeconomic advisor to a select group of prominent global investment funds”). It’s a documentary cautioning against the dangers of populist extremism, featuring the sober, reasonable analysis of James Baker, Leon Panetta, Rahm Emanuel, Alan Greenspan and Larry Summers, among others, and is honestly just as wild and deranged as You Me Madness. This completes a kind of inadvertent trilogy of films exploring inside the dream world from the POV of the middle class (Can’t Get You Out of My Head), the wealthy cultural elites (You Me Madness) and now, economic-political elite (Stars and Strife)
I know the criticisms most people have with Aimee Terese and largely agree with them, but if you listen to her recent streams/podcast where they go into the history of online left and how the Chapos, Bruenigs, Redscare, etc all came to be in the same circle along with how this specific type of politics gestated it becomes hilarious anyone thinks there is a big political valley between redscare and chapo. Doubly so because despite Aimee's racism, anti-feminism, and huge gaps in knowledge when it comes to socialism, she was fully part of the same club for so long.
The only real difference now is when cushbomb or whoever wants affirm something from the anti woke part of the circle they make sure to use protected accounts and all agree to pretend Amber isn't on twitter.
Amber.
which episode did she talk about this? also isn't Aimee friends with Anna from Red Scare?
