Apparently it makes you shit like crazy I’ve heard
Also yeah the carbs can be an issue, I think there is relatively low carb TVP available though. However, it can still spike glucose levels for reasons I am unclear on
Yeah, I do more mushrooms nowadays because it makes me feel kinda bloated, and it’s comparatively hard to digest.
It's great right? I like to open up with an early ghost on 2 rax and then expand from there. Offers protection against early and standard oracle play, plus versus a lot of builds you can just go up and kill him. One EMP can hit the whole army early game. 1 ghost, 1 marauder with slow, plus 10-12 marines and a scan, you might break through the ramp.
TVP ? , can you spell out the main Topic on your discussion once...
like you just discovered it yourself and allready use abrevations ? People might not follow...
See now im in the picture and can contribute to the Discussion and tell you that just googeld it and its like the Standart Vegan produce where i live :
"since 1968 available in Germany" ,
fun fact , in Germany the vegi market is Dominated by "Rügenwalder Mühle" a famous Meat Producer and on the english website they only offer the vegi products , while in Germany you can order Meat and Sausage also (if you change the Language) ,demonstrates differnent "Vegi-Mindsets"
https://www.ruegenwalder.de/en/products
But they simply do have the best Vegi products , its an actuall slaughterhouse , but they now how it should taste , so once they got into the Market , they dominated the market after a Year or soo..
Add some cumin, chili powder and veggies and you have some fine taco filling. I like TVP but I have found my pathetic stomach doesn't.
It's tight as hell. Great for multi-day camping trips since it's dehydrated and packs easily. I guess the downside is that it can be difficult to find since it's only really in bulk and health food shops, and a lot of those places can have spotty selection.
Super high in oxalates unfortunately. If you are at risk of kidney stones and/or have any issue with digestion like leaky gut or IBS then eating high oxalate foods consistently can really mess you up. I'm looking forward to more advancements with mushroom focused meat substitutes and such as mushrooms have very low to almost no oxalates in them.
Very popular with vegetarians here in my country. I eat it probably about four times a week as a main course. We can get it in strips, large chunks, larger chunks that look like steaks, and granulated, which after hydration can be used as the best ground beef substitute for people who are quitting meat. It's good shit.
Edit: also, it's dirt cheap. By far the cheapest protein source I have access to.
