Geneva Convention, Protocol I Art 43.1
Among the legitimate categories of combatants in a conflict, Additional Protocol I identifies the members of “all organized armed forces, groups and units which are under a command responsible to a party [to the conflict] for the conduct of its subordinates.” This applies even to parties represented by a government or authority that is not recognized by an adverse party (API Art. 43.1). This provision introduces the possibility of applying Additional Protocol I to conflicts in which government forces are opposed to resistance or national liberation movements.

I just realized that when Israel, and by extension the US, says "We have a right to defend ourselves" what they mean is we'll kill anyone we want, at any time, for any reason, and if you try to stop us we'll kill you too. It's not "defense" in any generally recognized meaning of the word, they're asserting that they can and will kill whenever and wherever they want and will not listen to or submit to any authority of any kind.
And if you don't think it includes us, your fooling yourself
Ayuup.
That's what I don't get about Americans. Like you understand that if The Man will do this to other people, he'll do it to you, right? No, they don't understand. They think they're special or different. They think that they're somehow exempt from the violence of empire, even while the empire is stepping on their neck. Fucking bizarre.
