I've been telling myself to go to the gym for a while, and even bought a gym membership but the second I walked into the locker room I was overwhelmed with flashbacks to high school and quickly left. Guess I just gotta stop making excuses like "oh I don't have a way to get there" and bug my roommate to give me a ride when he's going. Gotta love medical conditions preventing you from driving in a place with god awful public transit!

Don't feel intimidated. In my experience regular gym people are super courteous to everyone who puts the required effort regardless of level. Everyone started not knowing what they were doing. Just make sure to follow established etiquette.
