Hopefully it's common knowledge at this point to never bring your phone to a protest, but communication is still really important. Does anyone know of a low budget project to make text communication (and maybe voice communication) simple, secure, and private? I was thinking something along the lines of a lora radio an arduino, and a cheap screen using pgp could create a pretty nice little texting device.
