Well I'm keeping an eye on that. Could be intrigued, if the Kickstarter sounds half decent I'll back it. Love discworld. The idea of a game system built around messing with language and making puns sounds great.

Talk to your Dr again. Antifungal tablets have a not insignificant chance of messing with your liver, ie permanent damage so you should avoid them if you can.
Max Power Racing on the PS1. Surprisingly good fun. Plus I had to get it out of the way before I played Crash Bandicoot and Tomb Raider.
So from your list I can vouch for several: Remnant 2 great shooting, fairly short if you don't do multiple runs for loot grinding. Really enjoyed my time with it. Picked the dog class and mostly played solo.
Slay the princess is absolutely fantastic, it's also due a huge update in the near future so keep an eye out for that. It's not a long game either. Go in blind and enjoy the voice acting.
I spent a long time with Morrowind when I was younger, definitely not a short game but I think you can push the main quest and cut some time off. Very modable
Couple of VR recommendations for you: Hot dogs horseshoes and hand grenades is the best VR shooting. It's in early access but the take and hold mode is worth it on its own.
Into the Radius is STALKER in VR. It's dripping in atmosphere and has some really intricate mechanics.
May be a bit off for your taste but Nier: Automata has a great story and possibly the best soundtrack in a game. Solid action game combat too.
We have evidence of trepanning (drilling holes in the skull) going back to the flint tools time period. We still use this today to release pressure after a bleed in the skull.
They are really useful if you're in hospital and too unwell to go out for a cigarette.
Just finished it, really enjoyed the whole 3 seasons. I liked spending more time with the non super powered people in the star wars universe.
Yup, I make a conscious effort to look after myself more now since I burned out from work a while back. I cycle to and from work, journal regularly (I started with Mind Journal and follow that format), walk my dog (and having a dog in general is great for self care). I make time to spend with friends and try to be present in the moment and enjoy the little things. I also make sure I go home on time from work, take my holidays and don't take on more than I can manage.

I had a job in a local Co-op where I was bullied by the managers. That wasn't great.
I also had a job in quality assurance where to give you an example one of the tasks was to look at like 10k gloves front and back to check they were intact. We were not allowed to have the radio on or listen to music etc you can imagine the sort of people who were in that job long term, the conversation was not thrilling. I only did that job for a few months and I'd have been suicidal if I had to do it for much longer.
So satisfying taking out a whole herd of the deer things with 5 or 6 shots to the exploding tanks on their backs.
Very much not. It's a big open world with lots of exploring. But of the symbols everywhere type of map. There's a few boss fights but they are generally pretty fun. I can solidly recommend the first game. I haven't played the second yet.
I'm not sure I'm getting the big picture on this, they are on strike because the government wants to train more doctors? Surely that's a good thing?
Never going to happen without time travel but I'd love to have seen Queen with Freddie live. That man had some serious stage presence.
Highly recommend a long way to a small angry planet by Becky Chambers. Sci-fi book, lovely atmosphere, very cosy. Highly recommend the whole series.
I know my universe is at least internally consistent from experience. I think therefore I am after all.
Not all science relies on our senses but it does rely on our interpretation of results which is why we often use meta analysis looking at multiple studies to try to control for as much human bias as possible.
The top comment currently is about null hypothesis, you don't prove your assertion you disprove it under specific measured circumstances, it's really hard to prove the existence of, well anything really, but we can at fairly reliably show we are at minimum sharing a simulation as people can have the same experiences of events.
I think my favourite implementation is Dead Space. All the inventory and map are diegetic and the world doesn't pause to use them but the game does still have a pause function. Best of both worlds I think.
Can't you first go up to them and press action to swap guns?
I've looked at a couple. I think you need a game system which catches your attention if your not particularly creative. They generally give you good prompts and have plenty of generators/ oracle's to guide you.
Check out Ironsworn. I believe it's free and it's generally very well regarded. I've not played it myself yet but I've read most of the book and it seems very well put together.
I very much enjoyed my play through of this. Had to reload a few scenes after a failed quicktime or something but got an ending I was happy with. I especially enjoyed the main menu ai lady, that was a bit of a mind screw.
