Rachel is beluga is melina they're the same person. It is one or two people doing all of this. I poked the beluga account a week or so ago and immediately got more threats on my youtube account. Can't share the other info I have because there's no way to tell who is an alt.
literally the same wreckers it always has been, rachel melina beluga and their army of alts - I know because they still harass me on accounts that have nothing to do with hexbear. same person who got beatnik and dabs. question is how do we actually work through the trust issues to figure out who is and isn't an alt. I have no idea, but good luck to anyone earnestly trying to make this a better place.
Improper vetting and oversight of mods/admins is bad news when there has been doxxers, fakes, and sociopaths from the beginning. Because of the way the internet works however, this will never be able to be done perfectly. The culture of the site has to protect against stuff like this, it can't be one or two people. Having a culture that encourages posts that piss off half the userbase will always end in disaster. This isn't one person's fault, and part of it is the design of the site its self. I agree with the others who have said that badposting and fake news were always more harmful than the dunk tank. Those comms specifically are used to push lines and piss people off and have been since their inception. Just my 2c I'm staying out of this one from here on.
edit: I see some people trying to pretend like there isn't a culture of pushing lines with racism / misogyny etc, and that is really not helpful. The week of federation was a shitshow.
I understand the urge to do that, especially because the biggest anarchist social media spaces tend to be very hostile to communists - but I agree with your post. There are a good handful of other posts in here too that don't immediately draw lines. Probably the best discussion I've seen here in a while on this topic. Glad someone with a functioning brain said it so I didn't have to make a fool of myself.

Nah, they definitely didn't like the sub and have stated as much multiple times. I have no idea what episode it was on - might have even been a cushvlog - but they thought it was cringe that people were discussing mental health issues, neurodivergence etc. and didn't want to be associated with it.

Thanks for the advice but I use the same method I use to prevent getting mugged. Have nothing and be a nobody with nothing to lose.
